Project Objectives | Develop a modern presentation concept for broadcast news hosts. Create a homepage module showcasing all hosts, an individual host page with their reports, and a dedicated video page. The solution should reflect a contemporary UX and look-and-feel for both desktop and mobile.

The hosts are presented as an interactive slider featuring full-figure portraits, inspired by the look of movie posters and designed for seamless integration across key pages. The slider blocks can expand with any amount of additional content without limitations.
Now let’s see how this new block appears on the portal’s homepage.

Next, we move to the Video page, where the hosts are displayed in the header. Here you can also see the interactive response of the interface when a host is selected.

A host is selected, and we’re now on their page. In the header we see a feed of recent videos with quick access to individual videos or to the rest of the page experience.

We switch to the video page, where a clean and intuitive interface provides a comfortable viewing experience.

If the user starts scrolling while watching, the player “detaches” from the content flow and moves to the bottom-right corner. On mobile, it sticks to the top edge. Fullscreen mode is also available.

We created metric-based templates for proportional placement of hosts in the slider to preserve perspective, aesthetics, and UX. The two hosts at the edges are slightly blurred to improve cognitive focus and overall UX.

And of course, mobile versions. A mobile-first approach is more relevant than ever.
